Seems Philips have been busy in the press over the last few weeks. Some of the industries top periodicals have been quick to heal the praise on the Philips PFL9705 range. But what is it?


The Philips PFL9705 range comes in three sizes. The 32" 32PFL9705, the 40" 40PFL9705 and the 40" 46PFL9705. They all boast a very impressive spec with all 3 models being Full HD 1080p, 200Hz processing for smooth, jitter less motion, 4 HDMI inputs and DivX USB playback.

The Philips PFL9705 range also has the classic 'Ambi Light Spectra 3' What is it? Well Philips put it like this:

Add a new dimension to your viewing experience with Ambilight Spectra 3. This patented Philips technology enlarges the screen by projecting a glow of light on 3 sides of the TV, from the back of the screen onto the surrounding wall. Ambilight automatically adjusts the colour and brightness of the light to match the picture, creating an immersive viewing experience. And to be fair, it is very impressive. Especially if you suffer from eye strain when watching for long periods of time.
