Want to watch some amazing movies from 99p? And not just older movies either!

At Electrical Experience we like to try and keep you informed of the latest news and stories as they happen so thought we’d fill you in on this latest development being offered from Sky.

Sky is now allowing anyone whether they are a customer of Sky or not the ability to be able to stream content from their Sky store service through a PC, Laptop, Now TV, Roku and YouView set-top boxes. Sky are currently working on being able to offer this service to mobile devices so you will be able to stream movies on the go via your smartphone or tablet once this has been launched so no matter where you are you will be able to watch your favourite movies!

The brilliant part about this though is that you don’t have to pay a monthly subscription fee and you can choose when you want to watch them giving you complete flexibility and you don’t have to pay a fee for a month where you might not watch any films at all such as services offered by LoveFilm or BlinkBox for example.

You get to choose from a varied catalogue of great films starting at 99p such as classic movies like Austin Powers and the Godfather and many others too. There are films to cater for everyone’s tastes so whether you enjoy your action movies, horror films, romance or comedy there is something for you! Even newer releases can be viewed too such as Despicable Me 2 so it’s not just a catalogue of old films and at the moment there are around 1200 films to choose from so not as many as other companies such as LoveFilm offer but we are sure Sky will be adding to this in the future. Additionally Sky has said that later in the New Year you will be able to see other big movies releases from this year too so certainly something to be looking forward to. 

Once you have picked a film to rent, it will stay in your account until it is played. It will then be available for 48 hours once playback is started. This gives you great flexibility as you can choose when you want to start watching it.
