As at Electrical Experience we like to try and keep you up to date with all the latest goings on we thought we’d fill you in on this new update available from Freesat for those of you who have one of the Humax HDR-1000S Freesat+ HD PVR with Freetime.
Basically the update means that with the Freesat App which will be available later on this month you will be able to remotely record your favourite shows whilst you are on the move, no longer will you have to be at home to set a programme to record, now you can do it whenever and wherever you like! (Via a compatible device). There are also a number of other improvements with the update too which include:
• EPG Improvements (Electronic Programme Guide)
• Confirmation prompt when deleting a recorded series
• Improved stability when changing channels in non-Freesat mode
• Improvements when reading a Media list from a NTFS formatted USB device
• Improvements to the display of Recorded Programmes when switching on from Standby
• Improvements when Copying media or Deleting recordings
• Improved display of Server contents in Humax > Media Share
• Fixed issue with YouTube Back key
To get the update you don’t have to do anything either as your box will update itself automatically but if you really can’t wait you update the box yourself by pressing Home, Settings, System settings, Software update and Search new software. (Though for the app features you will need to wait until later this month when the App will be available on the App store)
But if you haven’t yet got around to grabbing yourself one of the Humax Freesat boxes yet then now is the ideal opportunity to do so! Either give us a call, pop in store or click here for more info.
