Sony Launch VAT back promotion!

Sony are clever little devils indeed. Christmas is bursting towards us unbelievably quick and with VAT increasing to 20% from the 4th of January 2011 - VAT will be the hot topic in the run up to Christmas, with the message quite simply ' Grab them while they are cheap' but Sony are going one better than simply reminding us about the impending price increases. They are letting you claim the VAT back on selected Bravia televisions.

'YouView' - The future of television?

Firstly...what is 'YouView'?

Well, The self confessed 'Future of television' boasts a very impressive package indeed. It is a web-connected TV service combining Freeview, HD and on-demand content such as iPlayer and 4oD all without a subscription fee.

LG announce 72" Full LED 3D Television

One of our more popular manufacturers LG Electronics unveiled what 99.9% of us would very much like to see in our Christmas stockings this year (albeit very big stockings). A monster 72" 3D LED TV! The 72LEX9.

It boasts an impressive spec: 480Hz Trumotion, 3D Ready, 4 HDMI, FreeviewHD, USB & Netcast (LGs rather nifty internet service for accessing the likes of youtube - yes, we DO want to see a 72" sneezing panda)
